House Calderon

House Calderon is an Empyrean family, with a new Kaelar bloodline being recently added to the family. The family is tied to their Imperial heritage from Verra, where they served the Elven dynasties as Empyrean Skyraiders and breeding Drakes of varying size. A proud military history in service to various lieges since the collapse has led to House Calderon taking martial prowess very seriously. Most men who come of age serve in some armed profession, and a Calderon is always ready to take up a noble fight.
Believing in their pride as elves, but embracing the new mixed culture with Humans; House Calderon takes the best of both, overseeing a cultural advancement not seen in their family for generations. Led by the second son of the modern family; Riji Decimus Calderon, the family begins to reforge itself as a noble and proud house among others preparing for the fateful return to Verra.

House Calderon is an Empyrean family, with a new Kaelar bloodline being recently added to the family. The family is tied to their Imperial heritage. Empyrean are primary, but Kaelar are now a welcome due to the new bloodlines of the current generation. Bastards and adopted member may prove themselves through martial competence and adopting Empyrean tradition and culture.
A militant noble family stemmed in tradition, House Calderon aims to build its House Guard to fight, and augment the Obsidian Order however possible. It is not uncommon for House Calderon to send their fighting aged men and women through the Obsidian Order, to hone their combat prowess. The urge to reclaim old ancestral power leads House Calderon to tame, breed, and raise new Drakes and powerful combat mounts in Verra. During the seasons when House Calderon’s warriors are recalled, a rural life of agriculture and protecting the realm suits them
Status & Wealth
House Calderon is a shell of any former glory, living well within its means and low to moderately wealthy. The House itself has only recently come to acquire a new residence after the family estate burned down in a fire killing the last Lord and Lady of House Calderon. Much of the material wealth of the family was lost in this fire, so much of the current wealth comes from recent gains.
The current liege is Riji Decimus Calderon, second son of the late Lethelos Calderon. Raised and mentored to take over, after his elder brother Jericho declined his right in favor of pursuit of higher learning and a vow to his advanced research. Jericho and Riji have a younger brother; Cruxx, who is the family rogue. Together they are the three half-elf true born sons of House Calderon. They also have half siblings; Arontinir, who is a bastard full blood Kaelar Human, serving as a Knight of House Calderon, and Dasyra who is a full blood Empyrean elf who is estranged from the family. They are joined by their surviving cousins; Valthrion and Madisynn who are full blood Empyrean Elves, and their Father’s surviving brother, their uncle; Alenduil.Various other distant relatives also exist, along with their blood relations to House Thorne.
